Here are some tips:
1. Ask for a discount if you order all your bridal dresses and accessories from one store.
2. Instead of using flower bouquets, consider carrying candles, books, bibles, a single flower trimmed with ribbon streamers, wicker baskets or a decorated fan.
3. Use balloon bouquets instead of flower bouquets for decorations. Balloons and helium are a fraction of the cost of flowers, yet still look festive. They come in a multitude of colors and you can dress them up with ribbon streamers.
4. Look for cake toppers in a craft store or grocery stores. They are usually cheaper than getting them directly from a cake decorating place. Also, if you are a crafty person or know someone who is, create your own cake topper. They are pretty simple to make.
5. Reuse your pew markers to decorate doorknobs or other areas of your reception site.

!Find a venue such as a park or garden that is already lush and beautiful.
!Avoid holding your wedding in February when flower prices are at an annual high due to Valentine's Day.
!Talk to party rental suppliers about renting large potted plants such as tropical palms or ficus. They visually fill a lot of space, and will help frame your ceremony site or warm up your reception. Best of all, renting a potted plant is far cheaper than buying large flower arrangements. Also, you may consider purchasing these large plants and using them in your home afterwards to get more use out of them.

One way to save money from your wedding is by creating your own wedding favors. It's more personal and can save you a lot of money. That's we did on my sister's wedding as well the guests were very happy. We also made her wedding invitation and wedding cake. The reception was also held at our garden so we did save a lot of money.

Bridal Shops. Yes, bridal shops have sales; and, even better, Discount Bridal Shops. Try to hit them in the off-season, if you can. The dress you saw back in June could be on sale in September/October.

Good tips given here. I think doing marriage at the court would cost much less than doing at any venue. If you want to marry at the particular venue than you should prepare your budget and all the planning as per your budget. Purchase bridle dress from the shop and avoid the showroom where the prices will be higher.

You can save a lot on the decoration hosting the wedding in the garden. I think that it would indeed be a very good thing to have the best of the things and that too at a cheaper rates so, decorating it with the flowers during the off season would indeed be of a very good benefit.

Use only in season and readily available flowers. Be honest with your florist your budget and ask them to recommend the best flowers. Give your florist a general style and colors, and banned flowers that hate you, but in general, provide flexibility so that they can use what is in season and cheaper.

If you're looking for ideas and inspiration to save money on your wedding, but still want it to be stylish and chic, then look no further. If your reception location is at a place like a hall or Elks Lodge, cover the walls with fabric from ceiling to floor. It's a dramatic and cheap way to make the place look spectacular.

To have an inexpensive wedding, one must understand how and where people waste the most money on their weddings. Wasteful wedding expenses can be avoided pretty easily.Tens of thousands of dollars can be spent on food at some weddings, but there are ways to reduce this cost greatly. Look for value-oriented catering options and consider serving your guests buffet style rather than restaurant style. This saves a lot of money since the food is cheaper and less staff is needed to accommodate your guests.

You can put together an entire wedding, including sit down dinner and cake, for under $500. The food will be the most expensive part, but if you've got a group of girlfriends that like to cook, they can all chip in. Remember to buy in bulk. Aside from food, the most expensive part comes from renting a location. People drop thousands of dollars on renting some fancy place for a few hours. Tip: rent cheap, then go to wal*mart fabric section and buy bolts of tulle cheap, and places like Big Lots for other decorations. White christmas lights on tulle are very pretty. You can make a school gym look awesome with the right decorations, and all for under like $50. You can be your own DJ if you have Windows Media Player and playlists. If you have a DJ friend or know someone w/ good speakers, just hook up the speakers to your computer and have someone sit there at the table with it to make sure it plays the music right. Glue junk CD's together with the shiny side out and a ribbon in the middle and hang them on the ceiling for some cool decorations and an awesome lighting effect. If you don't want to pay a photographer, a friend of mine bought disposable cameras and put one in the center of every table for her guests to use. She got some really cool photos.

General Tips

* Invite fewer people. Explain that you want a small intimate wedding. People will get over it.
* Beyond two people ready to make a commitment to one another, there are no “must-haves” at a wedding. You can get rid of anything you like, so don’t fall into the trap of feeling obligated to have certain things.
* Save money on invitations. There is no need for going high-end on invitations. People look at them for 10 seconds and then set them aside.

#1 Avoid Buying Invitations From Party Stores

When most brides think about buying invitations the first place they look are party stores or stationery stores. These are often good places to buy because of the variety they have. However, they are rarely the most affordable.

If you shop around you can often find invitations of similar quality elsewhere fore less. At the very least you should check the internet. There are some real bargains to be found at some online stores.

#2 Make Your Own Invitations

There are a number of different ways you can do this. Allot of people like buying boxed invitations and adding there own wording to them. A more modern way of doing this is by printing them out on your computer. You can purchase softer where that comes with designs or templates for that sort of things.

One of advantage of making them yourself is that you can add a little more of a personal touch to your invitations.

The reality is that not everyone is going to have a cheap wedding, unfortunately,Wedding planning is a significant part of wedding that manages your budget wedding,Firstly make sure you have written your budget, knowing how much you have to spend is a great way to focus on what are essentials to you on your wedding day,Avoiding the professional wedding seller's upsell to more expensive items is necessary when you are planning a cheap wedding, Your wedding reception will be your biggest cost, cheap wedding reception ideas are to look at holding your reception during the week.

Here's a few cheap wedding ideas to get you thinking:

Have a personalized slide show of the couple at the reception
Have a sing-a-long at the piano
Let the bridesmaids wear un-matching gowns
If your reception location is at a place like a hall or Elks Lodge, cover the walls with fabric from ceiling to floor. It's a dramatic and cheap way to make the place look spectacular.
Here's one of the best wedding ideas around. Consider having a money dance at the reception. It's not tacky if done nicely. People buy a dance with your and your spouse. Have the Best Man and Maid of Honor collect the money. It's a blast! You get to talk with people you might not have been able to speak with all night because everything goes by so fast. Plus you could make a few hundred dollars. (hey, extra spending money on your honeymoon)
Have a brunch the next morning, before you leave for your honeymoon. You'll get a chance to visit with friends and family (especially out-of-town guests.)
Wedding inspiration can come from anywhere. Be creative. Think fun. Think beautiful, then create your dream wedding inside your budget.

For a start the cost of some wedding ideas are just plain ridiculous with prices for wedding dresses, wedding cakes, hairdos, venues and so on being vastly exaggerated. Yes it is nice to have the best of everything but this mentality will quite often coarse you and your family stress and worry as you see the cost spiralling out of control.

The first of these three cheap wedding ideas has to do with the longest part of the wedding, which is the reception. The reception is a time for the guests to express their joy and love to the bride and groom and enjoy each other’s company. Thanks to the truth that marriage ceremonies have traditionally been incorporated the night-time, dinner is sometimes served to each guest at the reception. The food makes things comfortable, enjoyable, and lively but it comes with great expense. Actually, it may well be the most costly part of your wedding.

The good news for budget brides is that the era of the big wedding is coming to an end, the footballers wives style events are 'so noughties'!. The fashion for weddings now is simple, happy, personal, and maybe just a little bit quirky! Handmade is very much the trend, for invitations, favours and even wedding cakes. If you're looking for ideas and inspiration to save money on your wedding, but still want it to be stylish and chic, then look no further.

It is good to be practical nowadays. :) It is much solemn and memorable if the wedding is simple:) There could be some ways that you may have your wedding as simple as you want. Or, if you want if to be an elegant style, check on the budget first. :)

Give your florist a general style and color scheme, and any “banned” flowers that you hate, but generally allow them flexibility so they can use what is in season and cheapest. If you are using outside caterers you will probably find that it is cheaper to pay corkage (a cost for serving the win) that it will be to buy the wine from the caterers.
